Lost Tribe Sound
Endless waves of pitter-patter percussion, spliced with echoing melodic pulses. The minimalistic approach here is one of sheer mastery. I knew I enjoyed this album when I first heard it, yet it's deceptive brilliance really hit me around my 5th or 6th listen through. Be warned, it's addicting. Tip of the hat to you Earthen Sea.

Equivalents - A series of photographs of clouds by the photographer Alfred Steiglitz beginning in 1925 Who's intent was meant to detach the actual image from the subject. In this case the subject was something other than the clouds.
